STEM Sisters

The STEM Sisters initiative, led by STEMEOC, is a dedicated program aimed at empowering young Cambodian women to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. This initiative seeks to break down barriers and provide opportunities for girls and young women to explore their potential in STEM fields. Through workshops, mentorship programs, and hands-on activities, STEM Sisters equips participants with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to succeed in traditionally male-dominated industries. By fostering a supportive community, the program encourages young women to embrace STEM as a viable and exciting career path.
STEM Sisters also offers networking opportunities, connecting participants with female role models, professionals, and educators in STEM. The initiative’s focus on mentorship ensuresthat girls are not only inspired but also guided by women who have successfully navigated their own STEM journeys. Through these efforts, STEM Sisters aims to close the gender gap in STEM and cultivate a new generation of confident, capable women leaders who will shape the future of Cambodia’s STEM landscape.
